It measures a mere 3.6 x 2.3 x 1.2 inches, (width x height x thickness) and weighs only 8.5 ounces. The high-performance 3X zoom lens (equivalent to 37-111mm in 35mm format) of the Optio 330 delivers high image resolution and low image distortion despite its compact size. A 3.34 megapixel, primary color filter CCD and advanced image processing technology ensure that images remain intact at the recording stage. Due to the use of a newly developed image processing circuit and software, the Optio 330 offers smooth, trouble-free operation. The Optio 330 is equipped with a USB port that supports the USB standard. This allows easy transmission of photographic data a PC or Mac equipped with a USB port. The high-resolution of the 1.6-inch LCD monitor is ideal for both composing and reviewing images on the spot. It's even bright enough for use in direct sunlight. A range of versatile flash functions, including auto flash for automatic discharge under low-light conditions, flash-on, flash-off modes, red-eye reduction mode, and night scene modes including slow-shutter sync are available. The actual-image zoom viewfinder of the Optio 330 also features a diopter adjustment from -3.0m-1 ~ +1.0m-1. It's easy to search for recorded images using the nine-image display screen. The Optio 330 is compatible with CompactFlash Type I memory cards and comes standard with a 16MB card. The Optio 330 can record movies in AVI format with a duration of up to 30 seconds at 15 frames/sec. Capture your images with a choice of three compressed JPEG formats (Good, Better, Best). Attain accurate exposure with a choice of six-segment metering, center-weighted metering, and spot metering. The self-timer mode allows you time to get into the picture. It releases the shutter ten seconds after pressing. The optional remote control provides even more control, releasing the shutter with a three-second delay.
