Comments about Cyber Acoustics Cyber Acoustics CA-2908 Portable 2pc USB Powered Speaker System:

Works great, good sound quality - much better than Logitec. Mute button is nice, cool blue leds and volume control, although I don't use them. Comes with a nice travel case.

This is the second one and I'm buying it for a friend. I bought mine so that I don't have to plug/unplug an audio jack (directly to my laptop) everytime I go to a meeting or take my laptop home. The usb just plugs into the docking station. Now I just doc and play my music.

The only gripe I have is that the wire connecting the two speakers to each other is just a tad short (and fixed) - its long enough to put the speakers around your laptop, but I sit with a dual monitor setup and the cable is just a tad short to put the speakers on each side so they sit a little bit behind them. A longer cable would be better.

If the docking station doesn't have power, the speakers wont work and windows might get confused and change your audio configuration - not a problem with the speakers - just something to look out for (I spent quite a few minutes trying to figure out why they stopped working).
