    The Epson R1800 has been a great printer for me. It was easy to calibrate to my Mac system and consistently produces brilliant photos that help me look good to our customers. I've been most impressed that during a period that I did not use it for weeks on end, it started up and printed beautifully the first time... seems better than my other Epson printers in that regard. The printheads do not get clogged. I have had some difficulty getting it to print the full 13" size... so that's why only 4 stars, but it's good service in every other way has outshined any flaws. Epson has always been the choice for best color, albeit often high maintenance. This one breaks the mold. We're getting best color and reliability. [...]

    I LOVE this printer! Color is beyond compare. Does a great job with B&W photos too. I took senior pictures for a friend's teen. No one knew the wiser they weren't done by a professional.

    Either for those who are just getting into their own business or those who need a back-up printer, this level of quality has never come at a more economic price. If this is just for a hobby, or for secondary use for artwork, I still highly recommend it, especially due to the accuracy of its color.

    Purchase Epsons photo paper and you have better then lab photos! Kodak paper curls on most printers.Hp paper is not good. Epson makes the best photo paper and the paper makes the photo!
