we bought the xbox 360 to be a media extender for media center, the gaming part was just a bonus. after some deliberation, research and talking to friends with the different bundles we determined the 60gb bundle would more than satisfy our needs in the gaming dept. the games are fun, it is easy to discover new games, and playing online with friends was easy after the first try or two. the online xbox live options are dizzying, so much more than we anticipate using, but cool, and we do know people that use most of them.our new computer hasn't arrived yet, so i can't speak to the media extender part yet, but it seems to work well for our friends.[...]
